• What is the most important system in an engine?

  The fuel, the fuel-management system, and the components connected to them.

• How can diesel fuel quality be improved?

  Diesel with a higher cetane number burns more completely through the power stroke and returns better fuel economy. ENGEN+ is added so the fuel can burn more completely inside the engine.

• What is the cetane rating of diesel?

  Cetane number describes how readily diesel ignites. Commercial diesel is typically 45 to 51. A higher number improves combustion, stability, drivability, white smoke, noise, and emissions of smoke, carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons. ENGEN+ is used to help the engine with those conditions.

• How can you tell if diesel fuel is poor?

  Darker colour or black smoke, poor fuel efficiency, less torque and acceleration, harder starting, filters that clog often, damage to the fuel pump, and gelling, sludge or sediment.

• What is the remedy?

  Add ENGEN+ at the recommended dose so the fuel can address those engine and fuel-system conditions.

• What is a fuel additive, and why is it used?

  A fuel additive is added to petrol or diesel to improve properties the fuel already has, or to add properties it does not. ENGEN+ is formulated to raise the quality and efficiency of commercial fuel.

• Which agencies approve fuel additives in India?

  Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), the Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), and the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT).

• What is ENGEN+?

  ENGEN+ is a super-concentrated hydrocarbon fuel additive. It prepares petrol and diesel for more efficient, more complete combustion.

• Is ENGEN+ a certified fuel additive?

  ENGEN+ has been tested and certified by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), Dehradun, and other accredited laboratories. It is on the approved vendor list of the Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA).

• How does ENGEN+ work?

  ENGEN+ breaks long carbon-hydrogen chains into smaller molecules, so the fuel oxidises faster and combustion finishes sooner. That produces more energy and torque, lowers fuel use and exhaust emissions, and adds lubricity that helps reduce engine wear.

• How do you blend ENGEN+ with fuel?

  Add 3 ml of ENGEN+ per litre of petrol or diesel. When the tank is only partly full, keep the same proportion.

• Can you add too much ENGEN+?

  ENGEN+ is a 100% hydrocarbon formulation, so an extra dose does not harm the engine. Use 3 ml per litre for the result the product is dosed for.

• What does ENGEN+ do for fuel economy and emissions?

  A correct blend is stated to give up to 20% fuel efficiency and up to 50% reduction in pollution, on engines in automobiles, marine use, generators and earth-moving equipment.

• What else does ENGEN+ do?

  It improves diesel atomisation and the air-fuel mix, supports power and acceleration, and reduces smoke from diesel engines. It helps cold starts, smoother running and lower noise. It cleans the fuel system and injector nozzles, including high-pressure common-rail systems, and limits deposits on injector tips. It adds lubricity to low-sulphur diesel, which helps high-pressure pumps, and it inhibits corrosion in fuel storage and delivery parts. It reduces unburned hydrocarbons, ash and carbon deposits on the combustion chamber, pistons and rings, keeps lubricating oil cleaner for longer, improves diesel flow in cold conditions, and reduces how often the engine needs service.

• Is ENGEN+ safe in an engine?

  Yes. ENGEN+ is 100% hydrocarbon, so it burns with the fuel and does not harm the engine. The recommended blend is 3 ml per litre.

• Can ENGEN+ be used with Euro VI diesel and Euro VI CRDi vehicles?

  Yes. ENGEN+ can be used with Euro VI diesel and Euro VI vehicles because it improves the fuel.

• Can ENGEN+ be used in a new engine that is still under warranty?

  Yes. ENGEN+ can be used in new vehicles and engines. It has no harmful effect on the engine, and it improves fuel quality and engine performance.

• When do the results show?

  After at least 50 km on the road, or after about 3 litres of treated fuel in a stationary or marine engine.

• Does ENGEN+ keep working over time?

  Yes, for as long as it is used. Continued use is what holds the fuel economy and emissions result.

• How often should ENGEN+ be used?

  Use ENGEN+ continuously. That is what supports longer engine life and lower maintenance.
